Khilola develops impact investment and reporting strategies for private and public sector clients. She is also responsible for education and thought leadership projects and leads the planning and organization of the MaRS Social Finance Forum, Canada’s largest gathering of impact investors, policymakers and innovators.

Prior to impact investing, Khilola specialized in political, economic, regulatory and market risk analysis.She started her career at the U.S. Department of State, and then worked at Manulife and the Harvard Business School. Khilola earned an M.A.from Harvard University; an MPP from the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy; and a B.A. from Trinity College, University of Toronto. She serves as fellow at the Munk School and as junior editor for Global Brief, a foreign affairs magazine.
