Kia advises on impact investing strategies, while also structuring social finance transactions for governments, financial institutions, foundations, NGOs, and non-profits.

Kia started his career working at Goldman Sachs, Macquarie, and Next Capital. He also has experience working with early-stage startups in the legal tech, nanotech and health sectors. Kia received his MBA from the University of Cambridge, specializing in social innovation and entrepreneurship. There, he led the school’s Social Innovation Group, which included project work with CDC Group in its equity investments team focused on ventures in Africa. He has also earned a BCom with distinction and an LLB from the University of New South Wales. Kia completed his law degree at McGill University and is a qualified lawyer.
